Huawei MateBook

Let's get to know the Huawei MateBook 13 2020 version together. [Intro] Peace be upon you all. This is your host, Faisal Alsaif, and this is the MateBook 13 2020 version. The device is made from aluminum, and it comes with two colors, silver, and grey. The device weighs 1.3kg only. It is lightweight and has the same DNA as the previous generations. The screen on the i7 version supports multi-touch input. The screen resolution is 2160x1440. It also comes with 200ppi. Other versions of this device come with a 1MP camera on top of the screen. It does its job for video calls and video conferences. But don't expect it to offer a great resolution.

The keyboard is excellent. It is a backlit keyboard and after experimenting with it, it is very comfortable to type on. The power button comes with an embedded fingerprint sensor for more security. Once you press the power button, it will register your fingerprint and unlock. The CPU is the Intel i7 10510U and the GPU is the Nvidia GeForce MX250. The RAM is either 8GB or 16GB and the onboard storage is 512GB SDD. Huawei has developed their own cooling system. According to Huawei, this device comes with a better cooling system. Also, the battery lasts up to 11.5 hours of FHD video playback, according to Huawei.

The device is equipped with 2 USB-C ports where one is for data transfer and charing and the other is only for data transfer. Both of them transfer data with 5GBps speeds. Sometimes, the transfer speed is affected by the kind of cable you're using, so make sure to use the proper cables. The device comes with 2 speakers and 2 digital mics. There's also a 3.5mm headphone jack that can be doubled as a mic input jack. The device comes with great additional features like Eye Comfort mode, which, when enabled, makes the screen easy on the eyes. It supports Huawei Share for fast data transfer and sharing Huawei smartphone screens.

But the laptop and Huawei smartphone must first support the Huawei Share feature. The box includes a USB-C to USB-C charging cable, 65w wall adapter. The charger charges the battery from 0% up to 50% in 30 minutes. The price of this device is 3000 SAR for the i5 version and 4450 SAR for the i7 version. This device has all the main features in a lightweight package. It is suitable for students and light tasks. It is also great if your smartphone is also Huawei and supports Huawei Share. You'll have a great ecosystem. Pros: The price is great compared to what this device offers, especially the i5 version. Cons: 2 USB-C ports only isn't enough for most users.

You'll be forced to use one for charging and the other for an adapter. This is my review of the MateBook 13 2020 version. It is the latest device from Huawei. Would you like me to review more Huawei MateBook laptops? Let me know in the comments. This is the end of this article. Glory and praise be to Allah. I witness there is no God but Allah. I ask Allah for forgiveness and I repent to Him. Don't forget to watch the Huawei Nova 7i and the Mate XS 2020 version foldable phone.
