Samsung released a new series of Smartwatches called Samsung Galaxy Watch Active. Let's get familiar with them. Peace be upon you all. This is your host, Faisal Alsaif. During the S10 event, Samsung also announced the Galaxy Watch Active. The watch is light as it weighs only 25g and comes with a 20mm watch band. The watch comes with different colors like black, silver, gold rose, and green. It comes with similar band colors along with yellow, white, light blue, and orange. The watch can withstand underwater up to 50m for 5 hours. It also supports 5ATM resistance for diving. It is also IP68 water and dust resistant. 

The watch works with Android 5 and above and iPhone 5 and above. Notifications will also work perfectly. The CPU inside is the Exynos 9110 with 1.15GHz frequency. It runs Tizen based Wearable OS 4.0 It has the simple One UI for watches. And because it runs Tizen, Android Wear apps are not available on it. It has its own store with its own apps. The screen size is 1.1" Circular Super AMOLED panel. It supports CGG, and it is considered small compared to other smartwatches. The watch can calculate heartbeat, and it will notify you when your heart rate isn't regular. The watch is also capable of discovering stress levels. 

It is compatible with the Samsung Health app. It gives you summaries of your movement, fitness, and health. The watch can also calculate your sleeping pattern and you can wear it while you are asleep. It will provide you with information regarding your sleep pattern and modes. You can change between the watch pre-installed faces, or you can download new watch faces from the store. It supports Bluetooth 4.2, WiFi, NFC, and GPS. It has light sensors, a barometer, HR, and an accelerometer. We must that unfortunately, the watch doesn't support Samsung Pay. You'll have to depend on the Mada Pay app on your phone to pay. The watch charges using a special wireless charging base, and the battery inside is 230mAh. 

The battery lasts from 1 day up to 3 days. The price of the watch is 849 SAR, approximately 226 USD Pros: it is light and comfortable. You can also change and download new watch faces. When you walk, the watch automatically calculates your steps and brief you of the information. You can know all of your movements and calculate them. Cons: Notification icons are not beautiful.
